Plant identification guide.

Plants with 2 or, less commonly, 4 leaves. Leaves short, very broad (2½-3½″ wide), rounded at the end, dark-green, thick, ciliate at margins, bow-like, arranged only on two opposite sides of the main axis of the plant. Bulb above ground. Flowers tiny, whitish green, in a dense umbel at the end of a short shaft. - Haemanthus albiflos. Plants with more leaves, leaves longer.
