Plant identification guide.

Leaves deeply dissected, perforated, round, with heart-shaped base, very large (diameter up to 2′). Petioles long. Several basal leaves may be entire. Stem nodes with long, thick, brown, drooping down aerial roots. - Monstera. Leaves with 5-7 lobes, much smaller, not exceeding 3-4″. Stems with short hard sucker roots (surculi) by which plants attach to support in nature. - Hedera helix
